Jan Hellew, M.Ed,  owner and computer technican has 15 years experience  managing networks and troubleshooting computers.

Jan Hellew, PC GURU, has been working privately since the year 2000.

Prior to forming her own company she was a national consultant.

 As a Network Manager for the  Commonwealth of Massachusetts she has provided, training, technical support, technical writing, and network management to hundreds of clients.


She is a national consultant she provided technical support and Internet expertise for the  National Resource Center in Harrisburg PA.

She built a telecommunication network for the state of Massachusetts joining all the Domestic Violence programs in the state, and developed a shelter availability  inventory database for the state shelters, and statistical database for the state.

She was a key consultant in the development of  VAWnet.org a private national website with a public information / research side to it.

Jan was trained at the AOL corporate office and designed AOL pages; she partnered with Microsoft and IBM on various projects.

Janis has conducted trainings at national conferences, statewide conferences, and has presented at the National Governors conference.

She was selected "Instructor of the Year"  by the Cambridge Cable TV Station.
She has taught computer classes to High School Students.

She has taught workshops in Denver, New Orleans, Pittsburg and DC.
